William M. Vanveen, B.A., LL .B., B.C.L. (Oxon.) is Co-chair of the Competition Law Practice Group at Gowlings and a recognized practitioner in the field of competition law, covering all aspects of this field including civil competition law matters, including litigation for Hoffmann-La Roche, Eli Lilly, and Coca-Cola. He is a partner in the Ottawa office of Gowling Lafleur Henderson LLP. Prior to joining Gowlings, Mr. Vanveen was an Assistant Professor of Law at the University of Windsor’s Faculty of Law. He has also been a sessional lecturer on competition law at Queen’s University, Faculty of Law and a frequent speaker on competition law subjects.
