Howard A. Levitt, B.A., LL.B., senior partner at Levitt LLP, is a recipient of the Governor General’s Medal, and the Workplace Law columnist for the National Post. He is the author of The Law of Dismissal in Canada, Third Edition, The Law of Dismissal for Human Resources Professionals and Dismissal and Employment Law Digest as well as the author of hundreds of articles and numerous other publications on employment and dismissal law. He also makes regular appearances on television and radio. Mr. Levitt has successfully argued two of only ten employment law cases that have ever gone to the Supreme Court of Canada. He also appears regularly before the courts in eight out of ten Canadian provinces.
