Gregory Lafontaine has practiced criminal law at a consistently high level of intensity over an eventful career that has now spanned twenty years. He has conducted the defence at countless criminal trials and has been involved in a constant stream of trials involving the most highly complex legal and factual issues and the most serious criminal allegations. Over the same period, Mr. Lafontaine has also handled a few hundred criminal appeals. He has been counsel before the Ontario Court of Appeal on countless occasions and has argued cases before the Supreme Court of Canada.
