E.M. (Lisa) Vogt is the Regional Managing Partner, British Columbia, of McCarthy Tétrault LLP and a partner in its Real Property and Planning Group. Her practice involves extensive work with real estate developers and focuses on commercial land acquisitions and dispositions, land and community developments and resort developments. Ms. Vogt chaired the group of lawyers who worked with the drafters of the Strata Property Act (British Columbia), and she is a past Chair of the Real Property Subsection (Vancouver) of the Canadian Bar Association. She is currently a member of the British Columbia Law Institute’s Real Property Reform Project Committee. Ms. Vogt appears in the 2009 edition of The Best Lawyers in Canada in the area of real estate law and in the 2009 Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory, a guide to the leading law firms and practitioners in Canada, as a leading lawyer in the area of property development.
