Honourable Justice John C. BouckThe Honourable Justice John C. Bouck practised law in Vancouver from 1956 to 1974 when he was appointed a judge on the Supreme Court of British Columbia.  He elected to take supernumerary judicial status in 1996 and retired in 2006 after a distinguished legal career.  He is also co-author of several publications including British Columbia Annual Practice and British Columbia Annual Criminal Practice (Canada Law Book).

Ravi HiraRavi Hira Q.C., was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 1998.  He practises exclusively in counsel work, which includes prosecutions on behalf of the Attorney General of British Columbia.  He was a member of the Board of Directors of the International Centre for Criminal Law Reform and Criminal Justice Policy.  Mr. Hira was Crown Counsel from 1982 to 1988.

The Honourable Justice William F. Ehrcke was appointed to the Supreme Court of British Columbia in 2003. Previously he was an appellate Counsel with the Ministry of the Attorney General of British Columbia, and from 1981 to 1987 he was a Crown counsel.  He has been a member of the Credentials Committee of the Law Society of British Columbia, the Canadian Bar Association, the Supreme Court of Canada Liaison Committee, as well as the Society for Reform of Criminal Law.  Justice Ehrcke has been an instructor of several courses at the Continuing Legal Education Society of British Columbia and is the author and co-author of several publications.

The Honourable Judge Carol Baird Ellan practised tax law for two years with Thorsteinssons in Vancouver following her call to the Bar in 1980, and then worked as a provincial prosecutor in the Vancouver and Fraser regions, at all levels of court.  Appointed to the Provincial Court of British Columbia in 1993, Judge Baird Ellan served as Administrative Judge for 222 Main Street in Vancouver from 1996 to 2000, and held the offices of Associate Chief Judge from 1999 to 2000, and Chief Judge from 2000 to 2005.  She currently presides in North Vancouver Provincial Court.
