Bouck practised law in Vancouver from 1956 to 1974 when he was appointed a judge on the Supreme Court of British Columbia. He elected to take supernumerary judicial status in 1996 and retired in 2006 after a distinguished legal career. He is also co-author of several publications including British Columbia Annual Practice and British Columbia Annual Criminal Practice (Canada Law Book).By This Author Ravi Hira Q.C., was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 1998. He practises exclusively in counsel work, which includes prosecutions on behalf of the Attorney General of British Columbia. He was a member of the Board of Directors of the International Centre for Criminal Law Reform and Criminal Justice Policy.
